business
  • More Space

We get it, you’re busy, and your business can be stressful sometimes. It seems counterproductive but spending some time by yourself away from people could really be some balm to the soul right now.
  • Show me the Money!

Money is a top priority right now, that’s normal! Especially in times like now. Unfortunately the more pressure you put on yourself and staff, the less easy it is to create money. Remind yourself of why you started your business in the first place and the fun you have creating it. Money follows joy, not the other way around.
  • Leader in the making!

It seems uncomfortable and maybe like no-one sees what is going on for you right now. This is the point where we want to stop, but if you just take two more steps – you will push through! Leadership means going where no-one else goes and ploughing ahead. You got this, we promise.

job
  • Priority who?

Work can have an extremely external focus, especially if you are trying to make everyone else happy. When was the last time you looked at what works for you? It’s time sweet one! No outside validation will mean anything until you start to see your own value.
  • Look within

Sounds corny but bear with us. If you are constantly saying yes to everything – who is benefiting? Is it you? Most likely not. It’s time to take stock and look at your career and worklife – is this working for you? Some elements might be, and for the parts that are not, let’s change it.
  • Find your own joy

Are you tapping your toe in meetings and waiting on others constantly? You’re a solo artists waiting to happen! It’s time to find your own sense of fulfillment and value and what you do – and maybe request some projects that can let your true talents shine.

freelance
  • Giving away the shop

We have all been there where we want to overcompensate. But it’s true, you are enough. The more you acknowledge the valuable talent you have to offer, the less you will feel like you need to prove yourself to your clients.
  • Busy AF

Are you ever NOT doing something? One busy lady coming through! This is great for your business, but what about you? How are you doing? Make sure you’re not left by the wayside and take care of yourself.
  • Worry much?

The comparison game is one of the most dangerous ones to creatives and freelancers alike. The truth is – no-one else can do you. That job is taken, yes ma’am! So what if it’s time to put more focus into bettering what it is you do best and keep going?

hustle
  • Chaos ahead!

Chaos doesn’t have to be a bad thing, but when it’s the one running the show, that’s when things get dicey. The secret is: You actually know what you need to do to create the success you desire. Focus on what you do know and go from there – you will be great!
  • You are going to be enough

When you just get started and money or time is possibly tight, it feels impossible to see how this is going to work. The thing most people don’t realize is that you are already more than enough, in fact most of the time we are too much! Hang in there, and focus on your value.
  • Keep your eye on the target

As you start to explore entrepreneurship it can be hard to keep in sight of what you are aiming for. Revisit your targets and what you would truly like to create with your side hustle. A lot of what is presented to new entrepreneurs is bright and shiny and doesn’t actually create the success you’re looking for.

Do you feel like there is so much more possible?

What if improving your worklife wasn't about changing external circumstances but you had the capacity to create long-lasting change by looking within.

Shall I say more?

It always starts with you.

The ugly truth is that the majority of our interactions with the people in our life can be joyful or painful based on us, not the other person.

I show the creatives, misfits and wild ones not how to tone themselves down around other people but how to pragmatically use your gifts to graciously engage with people so you can get to work.
