I feel like its finally time to share some special secrets I have picked up along the way to having this ultimate dream of mine – to travel the world doing what I love (dance) with my boyrfriend and love of my life Cameron AND get paid for it.

I am definitely my coach Denise Duffield Thomases definition of lucky bitch. As I write this week’s blog post for you I am sitting in beautiful Southern Key West – Florida with my beautiful new family of singers and dancers as we connect with our familys and friends back home on wifi (and you!)

So for Christmas here is my guide to creating your ultimate lifestyle of dreams:

First a pre-warning – getting your dreams does not mean your problems will go away, it does not mean that you will always be happy and it does not mean everything will change.

However it does mean you will have a new set of good and bad points, some new growth and discovery about yourself, you will have achieved the unimaginable and you will be filled with the source of life – joy, inspiration, gratitude and the desire for what you already have and the entire world.

You will feel more alive than anything else.

So here’s what I did step by step – like a full on diary entry:

I found my dream – I lined up my values (what is most important to me) and all the things that felt easily and effortless to me-

Dance

Being with the love of my life (not so easy but I committed)

Travelling

Contributing to the world through rebeccahulse.com

Making great money

These prerequisites turned into a double cruise ship contract with Cameron travelling the world with more than enough free time to explore the places we travel to with Cameron and contribute to rebeccahulse.com and its followers.

We got told that this was virtually impossible

“You have to focus”

“One thing at a time”

You will spread yourself to thin!”

“It’s very rare that you will both get the same contract first time”

“Be prepared to be apart”

“You will need to work hard”

Cameron will have to decide if he wants to risk his job for you”

You imagine it I heard it all.

But we talked it out and we decided what would be our lowest standard which was:

To only accept jobs if we could both have it – to always ask if the other one could come and follow the truth.

So we worked hard but we followed the energy.

Was it a challenge? Yes

Was it hurtful and a rough road? Yes

However we never wavered and I never even dreamt of giving up.

We redid takes for our show reels until I had bruises on my knees; we tried new lifts and tricks to give us more of an edge as a couple and hell I nearly got knocked out doing one of them

So when all the work had been done, we had created these great materials that showed us off, spent hours wording emails, cover letters and sending little packages of hope to possible employers or dream givers.

We had dreamed, visualized, manifested, worked it all out, efted, poc and podded (access consciousness) energy healed, talked and talked some more and every time we did a bit more I put in my intention – for the highest good.

We will always received our highest good was my mainstay and kept me strong in the face of all those nasty comments fears and doubts from others and ourselves.

While I was on holiday in tropical paradise A.K.A Port Douglas – Australia we got news.

A job offer!

But it was only for one… Cameron

I was woken up at 6am to a heartbroken boyfriend weeping down the phone the news while everyone was in a whirlwind of happiness around him.

I held it in and congratulated him – saying in my head “this is for the highest good – it’s still going to happen even though I feel this craziness and heartbreak.

When we got off the phone I gave myself 10 minutes to completely lose it.

I bawled, sobbed and cried every cell of pain out until I was spent.

Then I got to work, I meditated, EFTed, called my coach and did the work I needed to.

I got calmer and I knew I was right – that in spite of all this doubt physical evidence otherwise my dream was so close it was right in front of my nose under its invisibility clack waiting for the right timing.

That night I got on the phone with Cameron and he said it was his intention to email and ask if I could be included in spite all the advice given to do the opposite.

So we worked together and it was our best work.

I asked Cam what he wanted to say and then I worked with my feminine intuition to word it for everyone’s highest good.

We sent the email and we knew our tasks were complete

It felt final – it was finished our last task was simply to receive.

The next morning…

Repeat – call at 6am

This time full of joy – almost mania.

“CHECK YOUR MAILS!” was the energy I felt down the phone, and when I did –

Success! I had a contract offer too and we worked it out from there.

Three weeks later I had moved out of two homes (wellington to Christchurch and the Christchurch to USA) and was in sunny Florida Rehearsing for the life of my dreams as simple as that!

And now I am sitting in Beautiful Key West still doing what I love 2 days from Christmas as I look at my beautiful new family and know that we have all achieved our own dreams our own way.

So what I want more than anything is for you to achieve and seek your dreams – they are right there under your nose waiting for you to take the journey to them.

There is never a right time to start, a better dream than someone else there is only your perfect journey and individual way of achieving.

So my darling what will it take for you to give yourself the gift of permission to give yourself your dreams this Christmas?
