1. Rainbow light!
This is a cooler, more fun take on the traditional white light exercise you could be familiar with.
Here’s what we do:
If you need to close your eyes and visualize a rainbow (or any color that takes today’s fancy) of lights cascading down on you. Like a nice hot shower from above or source. Feel it seeping into every pore, muscle, fibre and cell of your body until you are saturated in absolutely gorgeous shimmering rainbow lights (best lighting ever don’t you think)? Now, feel it glowing and radiating off you and everything you touch. Think of something that isn’t glowing and radiating in your life how you want it be. It could be your energy or money or your relationship and fill that up with your rainbows too! Breathe in the rainbow glow into your lungs and breathe out. Open your eyes and feel recharged!
We have all heard that we don’t breathe properly and I know I don’t for most of the day either. But I do make an effort to at least breathe a few good breaths every day. There are a multitude of methods and timing everywhere. But this is the one that I do:
Deep into the belly breathe in for five seconds 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Now breathe out for ten seconds 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and hold for five seconds with the breath out 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
I try to do 10 repetitions every morning before I get out of bed. Find a time and place that works for you and leave a comment below telling us what it is.
Being a dancer I love to do this all day everyday. But you don’t have to contort your body to have a good stretch and get the blood moving again. Try some of these quick boosters:
Stretch up: hold your hands together above your head and reach for the stars.
Shoulder rolls: great for sitting in a chair all day. Play around rolling them forwards and backwards.
Spinal twists: spinal twists are the MOST important part of spinal health. You can even do them seated in your chair – sit up nice and tall. Twist to the side trying to see the back wall and breathe.
Childs pose: either on your back and hug your knees into your chest. Here you can rock side to side, extend your legs or on your knees stretching out as far away as you can with your arms.

4. Dance baby!
Dancing is a feel good action. Singing along to your favorite tunes, getting your blood and lymph’s moving and raising those vibrations. Get a playlist together that is filled with feel good tunes.

Everyone needs to laugh. On a daily basis as a kid you laugh around 300 times a day compared to a sour puss adult only laughing 20 times a day. Sure, kids don’t have responsibility but that is no reason for excuses! Yes, when you were a kid you were just being yourself but is exactly who you were supposed to be today! Just bigger better smarter and bolder.
So what you have to do or who you chose to be as an adult is no excuse for not laughing at least 100 times a day. It is the best medicine after all. So how can you laugh? Fake or Real – both are great because you get the same effects even a lame ha ha ha will do the trick. As long as you get your belly moving it will recharge and lift you anyway.
